When you shutdown your server at the OS level, you may notice that the server will restart by itself automatically.  It is because our cloud infrastructure's Highly Availiability feature kicks in and thought your server is down and restart it for you.  So in order to shutdown your server you need to do the following at the client portal.


1. Log in to the Client Portal.

2. In the Client Portal Dashboard, locate your server/service in the Your Active Products/Services section.

3. Click the box which has the server listed.

4. Look at the left menu and at the Manage VM section, click the Shutdown link.

5.  The portal will asked you to confirm, just click the Yes button to continue to shutdown your server.
