How to perfrom a whole server Restore from a backup?


1. Log in to the Client Portal.

2. At the Client Portal Dashboard screen, locate your server in the You Active Products/Services box.

3. Click the box where your server/service is located.

4. On the left menu under Additional Tools, click Backups. (Note: To avoid error, you may need to shutdown you server before the restore.  Please take a look at this for how to shutdown your server.)

5. Under the Backups section on the right, locate the backup you like to restore.  If you made multiple backups in the past, please choose the backup you like to restore based on the Date.

6. Once you decided which backup you like to restore, click the Restore icon (a circle like curve with arrow) in the ACTIONS column.

7. To confirm the restore, click the Restore button. PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL CURRENT DATA IN THE SERVER WILL BE REPLACED BY THE BACKUP.

8. After the server is restored, don't forget to power it back on by clicking the Boot link on the left menu under the Manage VM section.
